Glapp Terms of Use
Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Thank you for using Glapp! These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Glapp, Inc. ("Glapp," "we," "us," or "our") that govern your access to and use of the Glapp mobile and web applications, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
For information about how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data and consumer health data, please see our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, both linked in the app and on our site.
1. Who We Are & How to Contact Us
Glapp, Inc.
Registered address: 1111B S Governors Ave, STE 37955, Dover, DE, USA
Email: hi@glapp.io
(If you need support, use the in-app help or our support email. Legal notices must follow Section
20.)
2. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be 18 years or older to use the Service.
- You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our policies (see Section 18).
3. What Glapp Is (and Isn't)
Glapp is a supporting, informational, and wellness application designed to help people on GLP‑1 journeys track injections, symptoms, weight, and progress; view patterns based on their own entries; organize information; and prepare for conversations with qualified healthcare professionals.
No telehealth; no prescriptions. Glapp does not provide medical care, practice medicine, or prescribe medications. Glapp is not a telehealth provider and is not a pharmacy.
Third-party links, offers, telehealth, pharmacy, lab, insurance, savings, and affiliate services. Third-party services are independent from Glapp. Glapp does not provide, endorse, prescribe, dispense, insure, verify, control, or guarantee any third-party provider, service, medication, compound, price, insurance coverage, availability, quality, safety, or outcome. We may receive affiliate or sponsored compensation, and we will disclose this where required. We do not share identifiable consumer health data with affiliate or sponsored-offer partners unless you direct us to do so or give separate consent, as described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Not a medical device; no emergencies. Glapp is not a medical device and not intended for emergency use. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
No guarantees. Glapp does not guarantee weight loss, side-effect reduction, medication effectiveness, medication availability, cost savings, adherence, clinical outcomes, or any particular result. Insights, analytics, calculators, medication-level curves, body-phase estimates, AI outputs, and projections are informational estimates only and depend on the completeness and accuracy of the data you enter or connect. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health decisions.
Do not start, stop, skip, delay, increase, decrease, split, compound, switch, or otherwise change any medication, dose, injection interval, or treatment plan based on Glapp, AI outputs, charts, reports, reminders, community content, or third-party content. Discuss any patterns or concerns with a qualified healthcare professional.
AI limitations. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not appropriate for your specific situation. AI outputs are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, emergency guidance, or clinical decision support. Do not rely on AI outputs as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Reminders and notifications are convenience features only. They may be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or not delivered because of device settings, network conditions, operating-system behavior, or service issues. You remain responsible for following your clinician's instructions and medication schedule.
4. License & Acceptable Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Service; (b) bypass security; (c) upload malware; (d) scrape or harvest data except as allowed by app features; (e) post or share unsafe dosing instructions; instructions to obtain illegal, counterfeit, grey-market, or unverified prescription drugs; another person's health data without permission; emergency requests; harassment; misleading health claims; or content that encourages users to ignore medical advice or clinician instructions; (f) infringe IP or privacy rights; (g) use the Service in violation of law; (h) attempt to derive source code or create derivative works; (i) use the Service to collect or process special category data about others without their consent.
5. User Content, Testimonials & Feedback
User Content. If you post, upload, or share text, images, metrics, logs, notes, or other content (collectively, "User Content"), you retain ownership of your User Content.
License to operate the Service. You grant Glapp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise process your User Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service (including generating in-app charts, summaries, and reports you request).
No marketing use without permission. We will not use your identifiable User Content in external marketing or promotional materials outside the Service without your separate, explicit permission.
Testimonials. By submitting a testimonial, you represent it reflects your honest opinions and actual experience. We may edit for length/clarity without changing meaning. We may display disclosures such as "Individual results vary." Paid or incentivized testimonials will be clearly labeled.
Feedback. You grant Glapp a perpetual, irrevocable license to use ideas, feedback, and suggestions to improve the Service without compensation.
6. Third-Party Services & SDKs
We use third-party service providers to operate the Service (e.g., analytics, messaging, security, error monitoring, payments). For example, we currently use:
- Amplitude (product analytics and telemetry). We use product analytics to understand how Glapp features are used and to improve reliability and usability. Analytics events may include structured information about actions taken in the app, such as the type of log created, selected options, or feature settings. We do not send free-text notes, uploaded photos, AI report contents, passwords, payment card details, or full health-log histories to analytics providers.
- Sentry and internal logs (error monitoring and diagnostics). We use Sentry and limited internal server logs to detect crashes, diagnose errors, protect the Service, and improve reliability. Diagnostics are intended to contain technical information only. We use filtering, masking, and access restrictions designed to prevent medication, dose, symptom, weight, notes, AI content, and uploaded images from appearing in diagnostics. If a user voluntarily sends health information to support, we treat it as health data.
- Cloudflare (security/CDN and privacy-preserving web analytics for our site). Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata to protect and operate the Service; if web analytics are enabled, we use them without third-party advertising cookies.
- Resend and Brevo for email delivery, contact management, email preferences, and mailing lists.
- Render.com (hosting/infrastructure).
- Payments and subscriptions: Digital premium features purchased inside the iOS app use Apple In‑App Purchase unless an applicable Apple rule permits another method. Digital premium features purchased inside the Android app use Google Play Billing unless an eligible exception applies. Web purchases may use Stripe.
- Google Workspace (Gmail) (support email handling).
- AI service providers, currently including Google Gemini and Perplexity. We use AI service providers to power user-requested features such as reports, insights, Wisdom Q&A, and pen or vial label/photo parsing. We may send the information needed to provide the requested feature, which can include relevant logs, questions, generated outputs, and uploaded pen or vial photos or images. We do not enable provider training on your data where provider controls allow us to disable it.
These providers act on our instructions and are bound by contracts that limit their use of your data to providing services to us. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy notices; your use of them may be subject to those terms.
App stores & devices. Your app store's rules (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play) may apply to purchases and refunds. You are responsible for device compatibility, connectivity, and any data charges. We may release updates that you must install to continue using the Service.
7. Health Data Integrations
If you choose to connect Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect, you control the permissions through your device and the Glapp app. We only access the data types you authorize, and you can disconnect an integration at any time. Previously synced data may remain in Glapp until you delete it or delete your account.
8. Subscriptions & Billing
Some features may be offered on a paid subscription basis. Before you subscribe, we will show the price, billing period, renewal frequency, trial length, paid conversion date, cancellation deadline, included features, purchase channel, refund rules, and applicable taxes or fees where available. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until canceled.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.
- Trials. Trials convert to paid unless you cancel before the trial ends; we will tell you the trial length and how to cancel.
- How to cancel. Cancel through the same purchase channel: Apple subscriptions in your Apple account, Google Play subscriptions in Google Play, and Stripe/web subscriptions through Glapp settings or our billing portal. We may provide links in Glapp settings to the applicable subscription-management page. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period. Deleting your Glapp account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
- Refunds. Except where required by law or the applicable app store's policies, payments are nonrefundable. However, for subscriptions purchased directly from Glapp on the web, we offer a one-time goodwill refund of your first paid subscription charge if you request it within 30 days after purchase by contacting hi@glapp.io. For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refund requests must be submitted through the applicable app store's refund process; you may also contact us, and where platform tools allow, we may support or approve a refund request. We may decline discretionary refunds in cases of fraud, abuse, repeated refund requests, violation of these Terms, or where a payment provider or app store does not permit us to issue the refund. Refunds do not automatically cancel future renewals; you must cancel your subscription through the original purchase channel. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
- EEA/UK withdrawal rights. EEA/UK consumers may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. Where legally permitted, you may lose or waive this right if you expressly request immediate access to the Service before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that your withdrawal right may be affected. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory consumer rights.
- Price & taxes. We may change prices prospectively with advance notice as required by law or platform rules. Taxes may apply based on your billing address.
9. Member Referral Program
Glapp may offer a member-to-member referral program (the "Program") in every country and storefront where Glapp presents the feature. Program participation and benefits remain subject to account eligibility, the applicable billing provider's rules, and the availability of supported offers and redemption methods.
Eligibility and referral codes. Participants must be at least 18 years old and have an active Glapp account. An eligible new user may apply one referral code during onboarding. A referral code cannot be applied to its owner's account, and a successfully applied code creates one referral attribution that cannot later be changed.
Referred-user benefit. Subject to eligibility, the referred user receives 50% off the first billing period of an eligible weekly, monthly, or yearly Glapp Max subscription if checkout begins within 30 days after the code is applied. After the discounted billing period, the subscription automatically renews at the standard price displayed during purchase until canceled. Offer eligibility may vary based on the user's account, subscription history, storefront, and billing provider.
Referrer reward. The referrer earns one free month of Glapp Max for each referred user who begins qualifying paid access within the applicable referral window. Each referred user can generate only one reward, but there is no overall limit on the number of rewards a referrer may earn.
Using rewards. Rewards are promotional Service benefits with no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged, or withdrawn, and they must be redeemed manually through Glapp. Rewards do not expire, but redemption requires access to the eligible Glapp account, continued availability of the Service, and a supported billing provider and redemption method. A reward month generally adds 30 days of access; Apple promotional offers may use calendar months. Billing providers may require rewards to be redeemed in supported batches.
Responsible sharing. Share referral information only where recommendations are welcome and follow the rules of each service or community you use. Do not send spam, use automated or bulk-sharing methods, make misleading statements, or make unsupported medical, treatment, weight-loss, or other health claims. Before sharing a screenshot, review it and hide or remove medication, dose, weight, symptoms, dates, notifications, names, and other personal, account, or health information.
Beta status and Program changes. The Program is currently in beta and may change as we test and improve it. Glapp may change future participation, eligibility, discounts, rewards, limits, supported countries or storefronts, or redemption methods, or may pause or end new participation. Valid rewards earned before a change remain available under the redemption conditions above. Apple, Google, and Stripe do not sponsor or administer the Program.
10. Electronic Communications & Marketing
E-sign & transactional messages. You consent to receive service, account, and transactional messages (e.g., security alerts, legal updates) electronically and to the use of electronic records and signatures.
Marketing consent. We send marketing emails or messages only with your consent (e.g., a checkbox or in-app setting). You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or settings. Country-specific rules (e.g., EU/UK ePrivacy, Canada CASL, U.S. CAN-SPAM) apply and are explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Data Use (Summary)
We use personal data and health data to operate, secure, personalize, and improve Glapp; provide tracking, insights, AI features, subscriptions, support, and safety features; and comply with law. We do not sell consumer health data and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We do not share identifiable consumer health data with employers, insurers, clinics, telehealth providers, pharmacies, labs, coaches, or third-party affiliate or sponsored-offer partners unless you request it, use a share/export feature, or give separate consent. We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, product improvement, and broad product insights. See our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for details, including AI processing, analytics, cross-border transfers, deletion, and your rights.
12. Intellectual Property & Open Source
The Service, including software, visuals, and content, is owned by Glapp or its licensors and is protected by IP laws. Except for the limited license in Section 4, we reserve all rights. The Service may include open-source components licensed under their own terms; those licenses govern your use of such components.
13. Beta Features
We may offer features identified as alpha, beta, preview, or experimental ("Beta"). Beta may be incomplete, change without notice, or be withdrawn at any time. Beta is provided as-is and as-available and may be subject to additional terms.
14. Availability & Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time, with or without notice, where lawful. We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
15. Warranty Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some disclaimers may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glapp's total liability for all claims in the aggregate will not exceed the amounts you paid to Glapp for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability (or US$100 if you have not paid Glapp). This limitation does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g., certain consumer rights in the EEA/UK/AU/CA).
No indirect damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Glapp and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the Service; (b) your User Content; or (c) your violation of law or these Terms.
18. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if: (a) you materially breach these Terms or our policies; (b) we are required to do so by law; or (c) we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion in the app (subject to data retention required by law). Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination (including Sections 5, 11–17, 19–22).
19. Region-Specific Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Who this section applies to. This Section governs any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Glapp arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms (collectively, "Disputes"). Different rules apply depending on where you habitually reside.
19.1 United States — Informal Resolution, AAA Arbitration, Class-Action Waiver
(a) Informal resolution first. Before filing a claim, you agree to send a written Notice of Dispute to hi@glapp.io that includes your name, the email associated with your account, a description of the Dispute, and the specific relief sought. We will attempt to resolve the Dispute informally within 60 days after we receive your Notice. If we cannot, either party may start arbitration as described below.
(b) Binding individual arbitration. You and Glapp agree to arbitrate all Disputes that are not resolved informally or in small-claims court. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) will administer the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (available at www.adr.org). Arbitration will be conducted by video, phone, documents-only process, or another remote method unless the arbitrator determines that an in-person hearing is necessary. If an in-person hearing is required, it will take place in a location reasonably convenient for the consumer, unless the parties agree otherwise or the AAA Rules require otherwise. The arbitrator may award the same damages and relief a court could award, subject to these Terms.
(c) Small-claims option. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court in your county of residence or in New Castle County, Delaware, if the claim qualifies.
(d) No class actions or representative proceedings. Arbitration is only on an individual basis. You and Glapp waive any right to a jury trial and to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or otherwise preside over any class or representative proceeding.
(e) Mass-arbitration filing protocol. To promote efficient resolution, if 25 or more substantially similar Demands are filed by or with the same counsel within 90 days: (i) the AAA shall batch the Demands into groups of up to 50; (ii) the parties shall conduct bellwether arbitrations of up to 10 cases selected by mutual agreement (or by the AAA); (iii) all other cases will be stayed; (iv) the results of the bellwethers will be used in good-faith mediation to resolve the remaining cases; and (v) any arbitration fees beyond the AAA consumer filing fee will be staggered and reallocated by the arbitrator consistent with the AAA Rules and applicable law. This protocol does not waive the individual-arbitration requirement.
(f) Costs and fees. AAA filing, administration, case-management, and arbitrator fees will be allocated under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, the applicable AAA fee schedule, and applicable law. Glapp will pay the fees that AAA rules or applicable law require Glapp to pay. You are responsible only for any consumer filing fee required by the AAA Rules, unless that fee is waived by AAA, paid by Glapp, or shifted by the arbitrator as permitted by law. Each party pays its own attorneys' fees and costs unless the arbitrator awards fees or costs under applicable law. The arbitrator may award fees, costs, or sanctions for frivolous claims or claims brought for an improper purpose to the extent permitted by AAA Rules and applicable law.
(g) Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after you first accept these Terms by sending an email to hi@glapp.io with subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account email in the body. Opting out does not affect other provisions of these Terms.
(h) Exceptions. Either party may seek temporary or permanent injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or platform security. For such actions, you and Glapp consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in New Castle County, Delaware.
(i) Enforceability. If the class-action waiver in Section 19.1(d) is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, then that claim (and only that claim) must be litigated in court, not in arbitration. If any other part of this Section 19.1 is found unenforceable, the remainder will still apply.
19.2 EEA & United Kingdom — Local Law and Courts
If you habitually reside in the EEA or UK, these Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, and you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory consumer rights under EU/UK law. Out-of-court complaint mechanisms available under local law remain available to you.
19.3 Australia — Local Law and Courts
If you habitually reside in Australia, these Terms are governed by the laws of your state or territory, and you may bring legal proceedings in your local courts. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) are not excluded, restricted, or modified.
19.4 Canada — Local Law and Courts; Quebec
If you habitually reside in Canada, these Terms are governed by the laws of your province or territory and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and you may bring legal proceedings in your local courts. Where prohibited (including for Quebec consumers), mandatory arbitration and class-action waivers do not apply. Your non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.
19.5 Time Limit to Bring Claims
To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be filed within one (1) year after it accrues; otherwise, the claim is permanently barred.
20. Notices
To Glapp. Send legal notices by email to
hi@glapp.io with the subject line
"Legal Notice," and by mail to any address we designate in the app or
on our site.
To you. We may provide notices by email, in-app messages, or push notifications.
21. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice (e.g., in-app or by email). The updated Terms take effect on the effective date stated. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
22. Miscellaneous
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written
consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or
asset sale.
Export & sanctions. You must comply with applicable export control and
sanctions laws.
No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms create no third-party beneficiary
rights.
Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions
will remain in full force.
Entire agreement. These Terms and any policies referenced (e.g., Privacy Policy)
are the entire agreement between you and Glapp regarding the Service and
supersede prior agreements on the same subject.
