Glapp Launches on iOS: The Smart GLP-1 Tracker
The First GLP-1 App Built by Real Users and Health Tech Professionals
The first GLP‑1 tracker built by real users and health tech professionals is now live on iOS — a GLP‑1 medication and weight loss tracker app for people on Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, tirzepatide, semaglutide and retatrutide.
We’ll be direct: there are around 60 GLP‑1 apps in the App Store. In our research, only three were built by people who have actually been through this therapy. The rest were assembled quickly and it shows the moment you need a real answer about what’s happening in your body on day five of your injection cycle.
We built Glapp because we were those people. One of our founders is a Mounjaro user. The other has built health tech at a million‑user scale. The embodied knowledge of someone living this therapy, combined with the infrastructure experience to build something that actually holds, isn’t accidental. It’s the foundation everything else is built on.
How Glapp Helps You Stay in Control
Shot logging and weight tracking Log your dose, timing, and injection site in a few seconds. Weight loss progress tracks at each dosage level so you can see what each dose is actually doing — not just a single trend line over time.
Medication level curve and shot phases This is the feature people reacted to most in beta. Glapp shows you when semaglutide or tirzepatide peaks and fades across your week — so when the hunger creeps back on day six, you understand why. The shot phases feature uses this curve to predict hunger, cravings, and energy shifts before they happen. It doesn’t eliminate them, but knowing they’re coming genuinely helps.
Food noise and side effect tracking The daily check‑in covers food noise, hunger, cravings, mood, energy, bowel movements, and sleep. If you’ve never heard the term “food noise” before — it’s become one of the more searched and talked‑about phrases in GLP‑1 communities for good reason, and it’s something Glapp specifically tracks as a signal of how well your dose is working.
Progress benchmarking against clinical data Your results sit alongside anonymised peer data and published clinical trial outcomes for Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. It’s not there to make you feel behind — it’s there to give you an honest picture of where you are.
Wisdom feature (research‑backed answers) Wisdom searches clinical trials and peer‑reviewed research to answer your GLP‑1 questions in plain language. Recommendations are grounded in guidelines from the American Society for Nutrition, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Obesity Medicine Association — not generic wellness advice.
Supply tracking Glapp logs vials, pens, concentration, volume, and BUD dates. Every dose deducts automatically so you always know what you have left. This is especially useful if you’re managing your own vials, stretching supply, or switching between formulations.
Privacy and data protection Glapp is built on the same security‑first framework used in HIPAA‑, GDPR‑, and ISO 27001‑compliant health products. Your data is encrypted, never sold, never shared. You control what you track and can delete everything at any time.
Glapp Built the Next Layer of Tools
Most new GLP‑1 apps are Shotsy clones. We have a lot of respect for what Shotsy built — it solved a real problem and we feel genuinely close to them in spirit — but we wanted to ask a different question: what does the next layer of value actually look like for GLP‑1 users? So we built new tools instead of copying what already exists:
Weekly reports that analyze patterns Not just a log — a weekly summary that surfaces what actually worked, what didn’t, and why. Patterns you wouldn’t notice day‑to‑day become obvious when they’re laid out across the week.
Weight charts benchmarked against clinical trial data Your semaglutide or tirzepatide progress sits alongside real outcomes from Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound clinical trials, plus anonymised peer data. It’s an honest picture, not a motivational poster.
Food noise, mood, bowel movements, and more The daily check‑in tracks the things GLP‑1 users actually talk about — food noise, hunger, cravings, mood, energy, sleep, and yes, bowel movements. These aren’t vanity metrics. They’re signals of how well your dose is working and where you are in your medication cycle.
Daily recommendations grounded in official guidelines Personalised coaching syncs with your injection cycle, based on guidelines from the American Society for Nutrition (ASN), the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), and the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA).
Search grounded in peer‑reviewed research The Wisdom feature answers your GLP‑1 questions by searching clinical trials and published research. Plain language, real sources, all in one place.
Glapp Users Exceed Clinical Trial Results
But there’s more to Glapp’s power than just tracking. Our recent research reveals that GLP-1 users who actively track their injections and weight in an Glapp may achieve up to 45% greater weight loss compared to clinical trial benchmarks. This aligns with independent studies, suggesting that consistent digital engagement actively amplifies the effectiveness of medications like Ozempic, Mounjaro, and Zepbound. Glapp isn’t just a tracker; it’s a proven catalyst for better outcomes on your GLP-1 journey. Read the full research here.
